We stayed for 2 nights with Madugalle and her family and they were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome straight Away. Definitely arrange to be picked up from the station as the home itself would be easy to miss though. We had an upstairs room which was basic but clean but there was a veranda to sit out on with lovely trees And plants growing. Madugalle and her family cooked us some lovely food during our short stay. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house with such lovely hosts. As soon as you step in off the street it is an oasis of calm and you are made to feel very welcome by the family. It's a great location, just 5 minutes walk from the central shopping area and less than 10 mins to the temple and lake. The house is decorated beautifully and photos tell the story of the family history.

Staying here was like coming home and visiting grandma and the family. The lady was so heartwarming and gave us tipps to discover the city of Kandy and how to travel further. Host Mrs. Kumari is really nice. Homestay is an old house nice maintained and renovated. Rooms are on first floor with a common sitting area to read and relax with indoor plants. Breakfast was awesome and Mrs. Kumari arranged transportation as well for day tours to Sigiriya and Dambulla. Walking distance to famous Temple of tooth and Kandy lake. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful guest house I have ever been into! It looks amazing! it's in the center of the city but behind the front door it's really quiet. Amazing, stylish - colonial style. Very comfortable and clean. In the morning we had breakfast, home made. Delicious, especially papaya jam!
